2019 tire question

So as I was waiting at a dealer to get my trade in appraised I was looking at the tires on the new Forester. The ones at the dealer I went to first were Bridgestone. I asked a salesman if that was on all Forester trims and he said yes. I was at a second dealer to co pare pricing on trade in and saw faulken tires on the Forester and was told that is the new OEam tire on 2019 Forester. Checked on line and that is correct. Found a few articles on it. Why would one dealer have Bridgestone tires on the Forester. It was a 2019 sport edition in show room

Bridgestone tires are OEM on the 17" wheels and Falken tires are OEM on the 18" wheels.

Correct. But I think the OP saw the Bridgstones on ShowRoom Sport.
I have Falkens on my Sport. Do not care for them all that much but it’s new rubber and will wait patiently until it’s time for some new tires.

Oh may explain it. Salesman said all foresters have Bridgestone that’s why I asked. I put continental tru contacts on my 2010 when it came time to replace. Made car quieter
