...and for what it's worth, in my 2019, I had the full emergency braking experience in my first week with the car, and it was warranted and likely helped me avoid an accident when a pickup truck's driver changed its mind 3x, fishtailing in front on me as we approached a fork in the highway... I've also gotten the audible alarm without the braking twice, and both times were necessary - once while I was staring at the map on the screen while traveling in a spaghetti-like set of tunnels because I didn't know where to exit, but the GPS wasn't updating - turned out I was also barreling towards a traffic jam in one of the tunnels... so while it may not prevent every accident, I am glad it's there in my car!
