TPMS sensor issues

on my 2010 Forester, I got new TPMS sensors put in my new BF Goodrich's thinking I'd swap back and forth the tires I wanted to use for specific occasions. But they seem to be causing the light to come on all the time and I would like to swap the sensors from the OEM tires/wheels into the BF's. Can I return the new sensors? Thanks so much.

A Subaru dealer will have to program the TPMS system to recognize the new sensors.

I just took it to Discount and they had to recalibrate the 4 I have on now and said I can deviate +/- 5 psi from what I had them set them at. But for my full size spare they said I'd have to take it to the dealership to have them do that one. Not sure why exactly. Should've just not bought the extra sensors and used the stock oem ones, oh well.

Subarus system only allows 4 IDs to be programed into the TPMS module at a time. So if you are rotating in your spare in place of another tire, you have to replace one sensor ID in the module with the one for the spare.
