Just ordered two sets of Falken EuroWinter HS439...

...one for my Foz and one for the wife's Jetta.

Hoping to get some decent snow this winter to test them out on ! The only other set of winter tires I had was some Goodyear UltraGrip GW3s on my previous vehicle, a 2005 Mazda 6 Wagon, and the one season I had them on we got almost no measurable snow to speak of

Link.

Thank you for the support silverxt! The HS439 should be an excellent performance winter tire. Let us know what you think you of them. Myself and other are curious to see how this model does.

Thanks again!

^^ Do you know if your stores offer any deals on swapping winter/summer tires? I'm planning to use the same wheels for these winter tires as I am using now for my all seasons.

I would recommend giving them a call to see how much summer/winter change overs would run.

I just ordered 4 today from Discount Tire Direct for $436 free shipping. Probably not the best "winter" tire but we do have the best AWD system. Better performance winter tire though. Blizzacks are way to squirrly!

Guys, how about an update with your experiences from last winter?! I'm about to order a set from Discount Tire Direct, but reviews are scarce. :)

Thank you! I'll give them a try. I've never used Falkens before, but the handful of reviews I've seen have been quite positive.
