Thisizbrian's FXT

I wanted to start recording the mods and changes that I am doing to my 2004 Forester XT.

Bought the Java Black Pearl 2004 Forester XT 4EAT used on Sept 2011 w/ roughly 85k miles bone stock.

My plan is to have a reliable DD car that is fun to drive and looks great doing so.

Picture after doing DIY black grille (painted the grille basically)

Very nice! Never seen a black FXT with the JDM front end. I'm REALLY excited to see it!

Nice. I thought you ordered all the parts pre-painted?

They do not come painted in the color I need unfortunately. The parts that are painted, grille and fog cover, had to be painted as there needs to be a paint code in order to order them.

I will have some more pictures soon of the brembos and these aero pieces painted and installed.

Weddings and car modding sorta don't mix. Finally got the Brembos and 04 STi steering rack installed today. Met Preacher at the shop today and got some good tips for the power gains I want to achieve. Looking forward to getting the aero pieces painted and installed!

Finally painted and installed the JDM pieces. Pics added!

- Front bumper w/ fog covers
- Grille
- Headlight surrounds
- Front fenders ( Thanks Arnold)

Need to secure the plastic under the bumper w/ a zip tie, but other than that I couldn't be happier!

Next i need to secure a 18g xt-r and the TBE. I have a bunch of parts waiting to be installed :)
