Car imported from Switzerland with 138k km with service book. Used, but good condition.

Testing the offset.

Day 1. - testing off road - mud was everywhere. Will not try it again

Day 3. - snow testing - well...it drift's on snow pretty good. For next winter new winter tires are must have.

The +38 offset wheels you pictured test fitting may be a problem. The stock offset is +48, so pushing the wheels out to +38 will most likely cause your wheel bearings to fail. I'm running +40 on my '03 & +42 on my '07. Even these offsets will can cause wheel bearing problems. :frown:

Well, I'm the kind of guy that likes hellaflush/aggressive wheel fitment so I will mentally prepare for wheel bearing problems. Thank you for advice.

Thank you! It's been great fun putting it together. As my '07 gets pretty much as I want it, I'm going to step back & start a Journal on my '03 X, now my son's Forester. I've always wanted to do a detailed step-by-step on the AVO Turbo kit installation! :smile:

If you want flush with the fenders, +40 offset with 225/235 tires will get you there. I suspect with the +38 offset, you're going to be beyond your fenders, with the tires under the fender edge. Keep in mind if you decide to lower your Forester, you might run into fender rubbing.

I just noticed your car has completely clear headlamps, unlike mine which has an orange patch for the turn signals, it really makes you front end look clean! I wish I had that on mine.

I think that is US/Euro difference. Looks like US lamps have additional patch and we just have orange bulbs.
I will also replace orange bulbs with Osram colorless version.

After 5 hours tinkering on the SR20DET I have found half an hour to touch my Forester.
Prepairing carbon hood scoop for mounting. It's not perfect fit so adding some ruber will makit look better and it won't damage the paint.

I have added BOV, no problems with fueling or staling so far.
I used Coca Cola bottle cap to close the recirc pipe. Is there any nicer solution for this?

Debadged the AWD, 2.0XT and some other stickes. Looks more clean in the back.
In the mean time lost one of the headlight washers. Anybody has spare one for sale?

From an GB impreza with custom carbon hood, fits very nice to XT hood.

Some updates:
- Kenwood 2DIN DNX5022 Navi + GPS, need to finish with hiding the wires for GPS receiver and iPhone,
- Reverse camera for license plate light, need to install it an connect to Headunit
- Thule basket
- H&R coilover suspenion from 2007 WRX
- camber bolts x 4
- f.cked up one CV booth while removing old struts (stupid me, will be fixed today).
- towing hook hell yea
