I have a WRX 6-disc stereo - anyone here put one in their '98 and if so, any issues I need to be aware of? Thanks for any input! :spinnasmiley

Should bolt and plug right in.

It worked in my wifes 95 Impreza.

Plug and play in my 02. Got rid of the casette player and storage area and slapped in the 6 disc WRX "double din" changer that I paid $75. Best $$ I ever spent!

Yes, have one in my 98 L. Straight plug and play. Works like a charm.

scoobymods has install directions. PM me if you need help finding the thread. Cheers.

Replaced the 4 door speakers tonight. Good lord that was the easiest job. Didn't even have to take the door panels off - amazing!
This weekend comes the stereo...

Yeah, headunits are pretty easy to replace as well. I've had an '04 WRX hu in my '02 WRX and now in my 98RS. No problems whatsoever.
