The information you seek, is in my other FXT thread! Lol...

Quick recap..

Needed the built motor for the White XTI..

New head gaskets and ARP head studs, are going in the semi built motor, out of the White XTI.
It only has 76k miles on and 17k since the forged pistons went in it..
It wasn't built as a big power motor or higher boost.. OEM head bolts need replaced and then going in the silver XT..

Should be more than fine, for 400whp...

I'm also pulling/selling the IPT trans..

A turbo Baja trans, with VTD center diff, sport shift, etc, should handle the DD life. I'll finally install the sport shift shifter and the paddle shifters, to the column.

Well guys.. the life of the "was gunna be a monster" had come to a end.

It's getting a stock motor, vf39, and STI tmic...
It's going to be a winter driver and then my son's first car. (Turned down to N/A power levels)
He loves it and I have a new "baby" to play with..

IPT trans is posted for sale...

Congrats on your XT journey and passing on the car to your son. Good call on detuning!

I passed on my 03X to my daughter and its worked out great so far. I got myself an 05XT alot like yours. Going in for 2nd pro tune this week after more go fast bits, but wont be laying down 300+whp! If it hits 250whp ill be ecstatic. Its a jdm ej20x swap, full sleeper mode, looks stock.

Thanks! I really don't need 3 turbo Subaru's. Though, it was my first!

I remember 325whp, after my first jump in power from stock. Jump 2 was 365whp.. Then 400+ and was planning a meth kit.

Then I got the 08 sport. It was STI swapped, usdm 04, but didn't like it.

I have a journal for that, as well.

Now the RS.. which will end up with a Dom 1.5xtr, to start. STI swap it and add meth.. should be fun!

Time has come! Time to bump this back to life!
Not so pretty, sitting in the background..

05 LGT long block, 141k.. heads decked and all new seals..
Working on top feed tgv's deleted and top feed rails. (Probably just OEM). Then looking for equal length header's..

IPT race transmission sitting on the shelf.(For Sale)
Replacing with a turbo Baja 4eat. Should go nicely with the turbo Baja TCU, sport shifter, and steering column mounted paddle shifters (finally coming to fruitation)



The RS got a FP Blue, not a Dom 1.5, and pushing close to 400whp..

Been slacking for a couple days, due to waiting on some tgv gaskets and injector o-rings..
So only a little but done..

Got the turbo Baja sport shifter, in place and waiting on a head unit.

Just need to get the wiring between the sport shift and the Baja TCU, figured out yet.
