I had my windshield replaced the other day. While applying Rain-X today I noticed that the lower portion of the windshield did not meet up with its molding. So rain running down the windshield will most likely go into some dark abyss between the windshield and molding... Is this bad? I assume yes.

I just had the windshield replaced on my toyota and the same thing happened.

I don't like the gap but I assume it's normal

Yea, a few years ago same thing happened with my rear window. Didn't leak and I didn't feel like dealing with it. 2 years later it has started leaking and is now getting worse. I'm not a window pro, but just my experience. I would ask them to fix it.

Well thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll make the call Monday, the company initially was willing to come to my workplace and work on it so it should be rather convenient to get this cinched up.
