Hi guy, please help me.
I have found good H&R coilovers from Impreza 2.5 WRX 2006. and I would like to buy them for my SG5 2.0FXT.

According to many searches I did on this forum this combo should work.
I did check this topics:

This is my car

I also tryed to do cross referenc on H&R site but with no clue.

Please confirm that WRX 2006. fits 2004 SG5 XT.

Kind regards,
ZaX

They will bolt right up, but I'm not sure if you need WRX tophats or if you can use your Forester ones.

I thought WRX and Forester tophats were essentially the same for 04-07 WRX and STI, and 04-08 Foresters?

They will bolt up just fine.

You will have to adjust the ride height a bit compared to the WRX and may find they sit very low.

Yesterday I towed my drift car to event 400km and car feels nice, firm, yet comfortable.
Next is to put wider 245/40-17 tires, pull fenders and lower it bit more.
Then I can start posting in to Aggressive wheel Forester topic. :)

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but did the coilovers fit w/out the tophats? Does anyone know if they'll fit on a X (not a XT, but sure if there's a difference but it's good to double check ;) )

Thanks subie roo, I was thinking of doing KYB GR-2 Shocks for WRX and Mach V springs for the WRX 04-07. Has any one done this setup before? How low is it? I wouldn't want to go more than 3'' , it say's it's around a 1'' drop for the WRX so I'm guessing it's around my desired height. I also have found Tokico HP series no adjustable shocks. Has anyone used these are they any good? I'm also thinking of using mayb Tein springs. (It can be any of the two shocks w/any of the two springs)

OP sorry about the thread jack..
