Hi Guys,

I have the dreaded SLS suspension leak so planning on switching out the suspension for either Forester STI strut and springs (all 4) or coilovers that are impreza GD coilovers (second had) which were fitted to a newer/facelifted 06-07 forester STI. I'm currently running an 05 2.5XT.

After extensive searching and reading of numerous threads I've come to the conclusion that I need to ask for help, so grateful for advice on whether 06-08 sti suspension will fit an 05 XT without mods?

coilovers are miester R CRD, not really sure what the general opinion in these is...

grateful for any advice

Cheers, Chris

05-07 STi switched from 5x100 to 5x114.

So I believe you’ll have to modify the bottom two hole locations that bolt to the SG5/9 knuckle. If you find 04 STi takeoffs it will bolt right is as they are 5x100.

Other that the struts, all other bits from the 04-07 GD should bolt right on.
