Hi,
I am getting to the end of my swap of a turbo engine from a 2010 Forester XT into a 2009 Forester that was not a turbo. The turbo has an extra fuel line, which is missing from the body of the non-turbo. I'm having trouble finding an 09-13 fuel line at junk yards in the LA area.

I found a yard that has a non-turbo '07 Forester and I need to know if that fuel line will work. Will it be long enough, have the right bends in the right places, and have the right connectors?

I also need the short connector that goes from the end of the line to the fuel pump. Will that one from the '07 be long enough and have the right connectors?

Thanks for your help.

Marc

I'm not certain, but going to say no it's likely not going to work:

- SG had a different fuel pump and filter set up to the SH;
- SG chasis was based on the Impreza, SH is more based on the Legacy
- SG is smaller in just about every dimension to the SH...

Of course, I could be wrong, as I said, I'm sort of guessing based on the above facts.

Are SG and SH body styles?

Do SG and SH refer to the different body styles, that changed between '08 and '09?
