I keep searching the forums to no avail and cars101 has yielded confusing results...
The first picture is of the 2000 "Code Alarm" remote that was standard on the MY99-00 Foz.
The second picture is the 2001 "Alpine" remote, standard on the MY01-04 Foz.
Question: will the 2001 "Alpine" work on a MY00 Forester? I don't want to drop 70 bones for the wrong remote but all the data suggests, to me at least, that this remote will work, and even includes 2nd click all-door unlocking instead of the hold-for-6-seconds feature.
