Hey...been out of the suby scene for few years but bought my son an '08 FXT and was looking to lower it a lil for him. Found some '08 Sti struts with Tanabe GP210 springs (part #TGF140). Was hoping they're a direct bolt up to a '08 FXT. Not sure how much the springs lower the car but would love some opinions on the fitment, harshness or the setup being too low for a FXT.

As a rule of thumb.

With stock springs, WRX suspension lowers his foz 2"-2.5"
With stock springs, STI suspension lowers 3"-3.5"
Lowering springs for either of those will just add to the respective drop.

Neither of these are "too low" IMO. I have ran both, in stock and with springs.

Here is my 05 on 2006 WRX wagon struts (2.5" drop) with Mach-V springs (another 1" drop)
