I've concluded that my break booster is shot. When I depress the brake pedal and start the car, the pedal does not drop. I've done some reading around here and found that the booster from an STI will work best in terms of performance. Will an 02-07 STI booster fit? Are there any other mods I need to make this work? I'm not into racing so if the booster alone does the trick and will fit I'll stick to that alone.

Thanks in advance guys!

Before you condemn the servo check the flexible hose between the the servo and the manifold. This can collapse internally and result in loss of vacuum. Also there is a check valve which can go faulty. (Basically a one way valve preventing decay of the vacuum).
