Greetings everyone. I've finally migrated from nazioc and other Subaru forums to start here as my wife and I officially purchased our baby mobile as 2018 FXT. I am interested in different wheels. I might keep the stock tires for now.

Would a 18x8.5 et45 wheel fit the stock tires, and clear the vehicle without rubbing on stock suspension? Thanks in advance for input as I'm starting to learn about this beautiful Forester.

Going with a 18x8 +45 is a good fit for your Subaru. There is a good selection of wheels available at Discount Tire Direct with many of them with the same specs.

Here is a link where you can search by Vehicle, Brand, or Size:

I am a new subie and got last xt turbo as well. 😉

I found u can get 225/65R17 and new rim if u plan to go off road.

I heard u can push further but I'll be get that after find deals.

Thinking of 1.5" or 2" lift for it as well. Not settle or knowing the con of it yet.

Great wheel size for the XT (should be OEM!!). Dont sell yourself short though.... get some 235/245 meat on them sometime down the road. Nice and flush.

I am looking at an 18x8 et+45 with 245/50/18. Was also considering an 18x 8.5 et+45with the same 245/50/18. The 18x8 seems to give a slight bit more inner clearance to the tire itself. Just wondering if anyone is running a 245/50/18 on stock forester and if so what size rims? this is on a 2018 forester xt all stock.

I do believe that I will be going with the 18x8 et+45 wheels. Do you have any knowledge if the 245/50/18 would be a good fitment on a stock 2018 forester xt?

That size should be a good fit. It is slightly smaller in overall dimension than the stock size. Send us a PM if we can help.
