Anyone recommend a decent set of wheel nuts for our 17in oem wheels? Bought a set about 18 months ago and they're already badly tarnished - suppose you get what you pay for. My local man has offered me a discounted price on refurbing my rims tomorrow so thought a new set of nuts (ooooh vicar) would finish the job nicely. Theres so many different sets being offered out there- incidentally, what size are they?

from my experience stick with steel ones! the alloy ones just stretch and chew up! even using a torque wrench

As per Scc28, stick with steel unless you're desperate to save weight. The alloy ones just seem to lose their anodising however careful you are with them..
