Anyone (Simon) know what the maximum boost you could use on a UK 99 S Turbo? I know the ECU restricts it to 0.8 Bar but if you could get around the MAP sensor, say using a FCD, how far can you take it? I see people who say they are running 1.0, 1.2 and even 1.4 Bar, does this have more to do with the actuator once the ECU has been reprogrammed or internal mods? Ta.

On the standard tune I wouldn't go past 0.8bar, I am fairly confident its mapped safe to that, but beyond that who knows.....

The 99 PPP appears to be mapped to 0.97 bar (lets call it 1!)

Those running those levels of boost are either running JDM (which has a higher stock boost and boost cut) or been remapped as far as I know.
