You can pretty much get any suspension takeoffs to work. 02-03 WRX takeoffs/coilovers will bolt right in. For your year, the problem will be with the brake line bracket. So you will most likely need some zip ties or whatever works for you. I had a page from our old Forum which I installed an 03 SG takeoffs with F-STi springs onto a '98. Thanks for reminding me, I will have to redo that page.

Excellent news ! How's the dropp with some wrx wagon take offs ??
Appoximately 2.5" drop for me. I have an '03 BTW. Not sure how much drop exactly for the previous SF model (98-02) but I know for certain that your year forester has softer springs/struts than the '03+ models.
