Well, Subacool wasn't able to attend, and he missed a good day!

6 rigs, easily 100 people for the second annual Front Range 4x4 (forum) gathering at China Wall.

Awesome raffle, won myself a coleman fridge for the truck.

Delicious food.

Then we hit the trails!

I will post some highlights, there are 122 photos in the slideshow here: Slideshow of pictures, photos, and videos, from webshots

If anyone wants to save photos, it is easiest done from my photobucket album here: Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Haku tackling the hill, it was slick! He's even locked front and rear.
Karla thankfully told me to air down, and we walked right up it with no trouble at all.
She's really getting good at helping me out!

Can you see the rest of the group starting to gather in the meadow at the base of the hill?

Man the views...

The beginning of the group gathering at the campsite from the previous night. This is where we would hold the raffle, eat and hang out.

I was surprised to see they were burning a huge felled tree! It worked great. When it's time to move it,
what do you do? RedRhino pulls up with his winch! That man is awesome, I watched him numerous times
over the course of the day show up at just the right time to help folks out with his trusty old warn.
Good man!

After the awesome raffle and some great food, we headed out in small groups. Karla and I headed off alone, sure we would catch up.
We ran into Brody, Haku and RedRhino playing on some rocks!

We gave it a shot!
I find every time we got out with folks we get a little more bold trying new things.
Seeing other's lines really helps me to learn!

Whoops!!! Haha, how to turn a yota truck with a bobbed bed into a teeter totter.... LOL!!

Not to worry, here's RedRhino... Where did he come from??

Was great to have Bill there to show me the ropes,
while I did have to take slightly different lines than him given his 'burb,
and his driving skills, are much better than mine, I never would have tried
that rock without him going first!

His line showed I didn't quite have enough clearance....

But take it at a slight angle, and up we went.
Man it's easy to forget how massive this rig is until I see pics like this:

Can you see the rigs down at the wall obstacle?

The wall!

Rhino and I made a valiant attempt, but it was not to be. Thankfully everyone was patient and let me give it a try!

Yep, that didn't work!!

Not one single Jeep in your posted pics....sigh:icon_wink:
There were a couple of wranglers there, but I didn't end up wheeling with any of them.

Seems most of the Jeep guys like hanging out with the "Jeep specific" forums/groups.

Front Rage 4x4 is a bit of a motley crew that welcomes anyone with a 4x4/AWD in Colorado, although membership right now is invite only to help keep the group small.

Haha, dirty toyotas....

Made the big boys jealous!

Has anyone seen Kung Fu Panda? Animated kids movie.
If you have, remember the scene where the praying mantis sticks the panda with one too many acupuncture needles, causing the panda's face to go all funny?

Well, this next shot reminds me of that!

Karla and I ran most of the way back with Jason and Brandon. Karla and I started calling them the twins!

Glad you guys are enjoying them!

outlaw - yeah save up. It's great to have the Foz as a daily driver and the 'burb as a basher. I'm not too worried about breaking him, although I do take it easily compared to most of the guys as I don't have the skill or $$ to fix major breaks.

EDIT: videos are ready, give me a sec to get them over here.

I have a rear locker, works pretty dang well! Fronts just have locking hubs, which is enough for me and 99% of what I do with her. And yep, she's rather HUGE.
