put the plastic skid plate back on to deflect the salt and crap off the road away from the engine.

to bad the P.O. had cut a big hole in it where the filter and pan plug is.

I have an 03 foz X AT and have the same trouble. You have to be really precise when putting on a new filter. For my car you have to turn it 1/8-1/4 turn after the filter makes contact with the mount. Too much or too little and it leaks! It's been driving me crazy for 8 years. Some times I get it most times not. With the annoying plastic under shroud it is hard to tell exactly when you make first contact.

18x8 Rota Tarmac 3's flat black 225/40/18

I'm all stock right now except those wheels and tires and i cant believe how much of a difference it made in handling.

Bought them off a friends wrx that's why 225/40 or I would have got 235/45/18 maybe. although the tires are extremely close to the rear struts. I can only fit two credit cards between it and that's it.

I can't wait to put on my 04 sti takeoff suspension on and paint the wheels something else but black. Maybe WRB? What do you guys think?

Left for an appointment with my Physio but had to turn back and change to the Audi because my poor S-turbo kept spluttering and cutting out. From what I can find out from a quick look through the forum, it may be the Air Flow Meter, but how do I know if it is the culprit without installing a new one, or any suggestions what else to look for?

Drain-n-fill the tranny on my 04. I used subby hp fluid this time. Shifts smoothly but much more positive at the same time. It's expensive, but worth it if it holds up. Dumped about 6 gallons of old oil at the parts store, and bought a t-70 for next weekend's front diff change for both cars.

BTW Mattsonb: I love the look. The wrap looks better than flat black paint for some reason.

I got stuck in hard packed snow today.
The wind is blowing the snow over the road. So first I drove into it, I backed out. The I thought I just get a bit speed. But that was my mistake as the area was like almost 3 car lengths covered in snow. The snow was so hard I did not even sink down when going on it.

I got loose thx to a friend of mine with a terranoII
He had to pull several times to get me out of there.
