Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today?? :biggrin:

went fishing with a buddy today. embarased him because his eddie bauer exploder wouldn't get down into the fishin hole but my 99 forester would!!!

well it was the other day...but put on LGT rear brakes with new posi quite pads and R1concept rotors. and also just put in the FRONT swift springs on newer oem forester struts. (special thanks to neoshi !!) just hoping to get free time to put in swifts in rear and LGT fronts and bleed brakes

rinsed the cabin filter in the XT and changed the "legs and shoes" on the SF5. 2004 WRX wagon struts/springs with Paranoid 3/8" spacers for bum sag.

Believe it or not, the fan still blew pretty nicely. Definitely an improvement after replacement though. :icon_eek:

This looks SOoooooo nice. You guys with the "s" model are so lucky to get painted lower panels. It sure looks more modern than the SF two toners.

I baked the foz headlights tonight. Looks pretty sweet. I will post pics shortly =)

Changed the shift knob... My first mod!

it was a bigger chore than I anticipated... had to figure out why the whol shaft was spinning.

I like the final outcome, though it is a cheap O'Reilly part.
