Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.
(if this is a repost, please delete it)

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

dropping it back off at the shop so they can finish fixing the noise, and redo some of the previous work... they need to learn how to bleed brakes.

Very Nice, what brand is it?
after attempting to polish the fairing and failing miserably, i decided to apply some digital snow-camo vinyl instead.

now, when it snows, it'll be invisible!

(it's funny because i'm in Miami; it'll never snow here.)

Looks like it's the Yakima Load Warrior
Quoted for truth. It's the load warrior with the yak spare tire mount.
Thanks for all the cmpliments! :woohoo:
valve lash adjustment. obviously followed by new oil (5w-30 for out east) & filter. now it feels tighter and more responsive. no more tick - tick - tick - tick. at least not yet. we'll see. sucks that i've got a misfire in cylinders 1 - 4.

uh, wha?
it's snow camo.

i live in a tropical climate.

you see, it won't snow here.

... nevermind.
I had body side molding and all leather interior installed (including heated seats) by the dealer.

Any good threads available for installing after-market fog lamps?

Oh, I understand that part just fine. If you check out my Journal you'll see I stickerbomb'd my wind deflector.

But, I'm just trying to see what part of your car I'm looking at.

edit--- nvm, i'm retarded. :)
that's what i said. it looks like there was a white thing that was electronically cut & pasted. maybe a different angle would have helped.
^^ I knew right away what it was, but then again I have the exact same basket and fairing, so I was at an advantage.
but where are the pics? sadly we did not get enough to play in here is Greensboro.
he said he had a go pro mounted on his wing and some times in the video you can see my headlights at the other end of the parking lot. It apparently ran out of memory when he slid off into the ditch, haha.
Well the service manager called to report my car is finally fixed... and told me I have to trade him cars now.

ohhh.. i see it, now! haha
i thought there was something weird in front of an aftermarket roof rack. it was a fairing on a roof basket.
