Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.
(if this is a repost, please delete it)

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

today i changed the plugs (wow; unnecessarily difficult), swapped out the radiator for a non-leaking OE one (thanks GarageXTi), changed the oil, and yelled obscenities at it throughout the entire plug-swapping fiasco.

i ended up undoing the lower engine mounts so i could raise the engine in order to have access to the coilpacks and plugs.

it was my first time, and it took me the better part of 3 hours to do the plugs.

the radiator, on the other hand, took me a total of 27 minutes. and the oil change is pretty standard.
Getting the winter tires install at Sears as I typing this!
got my zerosports world league exhaust lowered and lengthened, finally
Left it at the shop... apparently plugs, injectors, brakes, and full fluids can't be done in a single day. Not looking forward to the shop bill, and hopefully that click is gone or I'm turning around and leaving it there for another night...
Hauled 2 6" bookshelves in my07 yesterday. Reinstalled my TXS RFL muffler today.

I did this a few weeks ago including Group N bushings. My invoice should give you an approximate ballpark on the $$ you would be looking at. My car was in the shop for 2 weeks. To see the invoice refer to post #1455 of this thread.
Did my 8K oil change! Got my winter wheels on and took the Thule Basket off the top. Now if only 2 feet of snow would fall I could test this baby out in the snow:)
Got a four wheel alignment.

New Stoptech Pads (F/R)
ATE Blue Fluid

STOP! Hammer Time!
Finished the timing belt replacement with new water pump, tensioner, all pulleys, and new alt and a/c belts. One of the outer belts is squealing when warm. Too loose I guess? How much deflection should there be when I adjust the tension?

Went drifting in some fresh powder with an STi then had to yank him out of a ditch after powersliding down a mountain road. And yeah, I got a case of beer out of that.
