Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

^^^sleestak, is your c-pillar panel painted black as well? i hear they simply snap off, no adhesive, but i'm interested in painting them.... today i had new rubber, BF Goodrich G-Force Sports, mounted and balanced, with a 4 wheel alignment... had fun testing them out on way home on a tight entrance ramp... =) had my previous set of tires for almost three years, feels good.
Went down to RallySportDirect and bought some Redline for the tranny/diff gears as well as some superblue for the brakes. I'm replacing all fluids this weekend.
data logged a couple spirited runs in an attempt to recreate a misfire from last night.
the misfire conveniently happened less than 20 miles after refueling, so I suspect bad fuel might be a contributing factor.

Car is running alright the rest of the time though, can't seem to recreate the problem today. I'll have to try and get the car in for a compression/leakdown test next week to see if the misfire cooked a ringland or not.
This week:

Whiteline roll center kit, cleaned up and put a new bearing into passenger front junkyard knuckle (because i'm a moron and ruined the one on the car), feal revalved sti struts, rce black springs, group n top hats, aluminum lateral links with tic bushings, wrapped front and rear sway bars in heavy teflon tape and regreased, new oil filler tube (also because i'm an idiot), change tray clip, and an alignment.

Sometime in the near future: 300zx calipers, lgt front rotors, 300zx rear rotors, stainless lines, master cylinder brace, txs timic, forge bpv, subtle rear brace and an oil change.
Lighting

Installed interior LEDs and 5000K HIDs in Lows/Highs/Fogs. Ordered LEDs for Brakes/Reverse/Parking lights. Interior looks sweet with cool white LEDs - Highly Recommend.

Just ordered a set of 6000k led parking bulbs to go with my 6000k HID's. Can't wait for them to come in :)
Went dorrrrriftoooooo in a roundabout, with a bike in the back of the Foz. And yes, the roundabout was in BFE and no innocent children were harmed.
Pretty much full suspension upgrade. Holy crap does it ride better.
Drifted it the other day and tonight I'm gonna go drifting on the fresh rain with my bald tires :)
Drove 120 miles on dirt roads, guided by the flip of a coin at each intersection. A two and a half hour dirt roadtrip with only one destination. Lost.

Good fun.
