Went up a little hill yesterday (first one through the gate in the morning:bacon to check out the new tarmac up top. Sub 10 minutes should be the new norm next year.

So ... Pike's Peak? I know they had plans to pave it ... is it done already?! Damn shame that they are paving it - that race will never be the same.

Changed rear differential oil for the 4th time and front differential oil for the third time. 59K miles. yea, its over the top. But I spend zero time on mods and waxing/polishing.

Put a sticker on the back window and pulled off the appropriate trim peace for a peak at the upcoming tweeter installation. Since I live within eyesight of Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway I might go for a spin since it's a perfectly clear day with moderate temperatures.

After I trimmed the Canadian Hemlock hedge in my front yard I drove the Sube on the back roads up to visit my younger daughter. I helped her haul some branches and weeds she'd cleaned up from her yard, then I hauled some firewood to her place. Took the long way back home again on a two lane blacktop, and stopped to wash the Sube on the way home.

All in all a great day for a drive here in western Pa.:biggrin:

Started posting on this forum and started putting together my Forester journal. Just need 15 posts to start linking my pictures.

Installed my D2 coilovers. Very bouncy ride on the way home as they didn't adjust the dampening and I found them on the softest setting. I put them at 20 clicks and will go out later to see if that's too firm now. Hearing some creaky noises from the front. I'm hoping that will settle down.
