Side mirror issue

Hi There:
I am a newbie here and would like some kind advise, got myself a forester MY10 model X few months back. The base model side mirror come without colour.

So recently I pull out the side mirror cap to colour it, unfortunately some rain water managed to get into the side mirror front section before I can reattach the mirror cap. The mirror cap is now back on, should I be concern about rusting having water trap inside?

Took mine in to get the free oil change at 3000 miles at the dealership. Got home and I could smell burnt oil. On inspection found motor oil on the bottom of the new filter and smoke coming from the exhaust heat shield below the oil filter. Then I found a 6 inch scratch on the right front fender (which I had to wax out). I knew better than to let someone else work on my car. I did the first oil/filter change at 1500 miles, and I didn't have any smoke,drips, or scratches on the Foz when I was done.

I drove mine to work and back... I just got it 4 days ago. It's a blast to drive.. Even took it for a spin on my lunch break.

I'm getting ready to wax the '07 FSXT, so I spent way too much time putting Mother's Back-to-Black on all the black trim, including the tires. Talk about boring! Still... looks real nice.

With the help of my girlfriend, we washed and waxed the entire car. She helped me install the front lip and then proceeded to lay under the car and wipe-down the entire front undercarriage - I owe her a nice dinner for that!!! We also applied painters' tape to the front of the car, in preparation for the drive to WCSS.

Uh I drove it to Reno and lost an eyelid =[ I'm so saddd.... Plus a bunch of plasticc molding is coming loose! really!.. Maybe the heat is making the adhesive suck but I'm angry.
