It takes a big man to openly admit failure without coaxing.remote started my forester in first and into the garage door . FAIL.
And that is why you don't install remote start systems in manual vehicles. I once witnessed a car wash/detail attendant almost getting his legs crushed between two vehicles in a very similar situation...remote started my forester in first and into the garage door . FAIL.

couldn't you wire the remote start in with the clutch pedal depress switch to make it safer? :crazy: :icon_razz: :biggrin:And that is why you don't install remote start systems in manual vehicles. How'd that happen?Pulled off my rsb endlinks are busted and bar maybe bent. FML.
Pics or it didn't happen :wink:* Fitted a dog guard to prevent my english setter from driving too;
* Installed a 12V/230V+USB converter on the passenger side of the EAT (convenient for the upcoming holidays);
* Installed two extra 12V sockets in the center console (behind the ash tray, out of site) so the satnav by Garmin and the power converter both are powered while still have the original cigarette lighter available.
Have a nice weekend!
