What did you do to your subie today?

Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.
(if this is a repost, please delete it)

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

Going to the dealer to have them look at some stuff on the 07 before it runs out of warranty. Then off to have the moonroof tinted.
Invited Koyo to the house to have a new production version Radiator (SG Specfic) installed!!!

We also did a photoshoot (photos will be posted soon)!
Just got back from having the roof tinted. Might go install a few more parts later today.
Noticed one of the lateral link tabs broke.. Tonight installing Sti steel lateral links.
Pulled out a cooler full of empty beer cans and some balled up wet towels out of the car.

What happened last night?
Did some roof basket measurement comparisons and started hand waxing with Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. I'll probably do it a section at a time, day-off attention span permitting.
Clayed. Mopped and waxed the bodywork, polished the exhaust tailpipe, cleaned the rubber and resprayed by wiper arms.
Not my Subie, but JE's (Preacher)....

Installed his Subtle Carbon Fiber Exhaust heatshield. I don't have any pictures, but it looks killer on top of the matt black vinyl.

FYI....we only have 3 of these heatshields left in stock!

i bet that looks badass. he better get some photos up
1. Installed WRX pedals
2. Swapped out old, broken center a/c vents for new ones
3. Replaced washer fluid cap that was broken
4. Bought new suspension that should be going on sometime this week
5. Had convo. with mike (the guy i bought the suspension from) about subarus for a good amount of time

Oh and it rained on my clean car :mob:
Bought and installed K&N Drop-in Filter.
Pull open fender well to plan on removing Snokus and route tubing to either stock headlight position or dryer cooler area.
About the pull nail out or rear driver side tire and plug it once it gets cooler outside.
Took it to borrow a breaker bar from a dead guy so I can change the upstream O2 sensor.
Rotated the tires and installed the painted roof spoiler. Haven't had any rain to see if it really does what it should, but we'll see. I then hauled a large bookcase to my storage unit and hauled back 3 smaller bookcases. Nothing quite like folding the rear seats down and the front seat back to get a full car length of space to haul crap with.
Spent Sunday morning with my Forester:

-Changed the light bulb in the dash clock (took awhile because I had to drive to, and then around, town as the first parts store I went to was closed and then breakfast sounded awesome)

-vacuumed the interior, getting ready to to detail the interior

My wife should be off work by the time I get the inside clean, we might take it down the gravel/dirt roads in the national forest and get it dirty again:icon_wink:
Installed a K&N drop in the other day. Washed her today and installed some yellow tint on the fogs. I guess Ima have to get a spoiler...everyone else already has theirs!!! Hmmm....next mod shall be spoiler or a header.

Installed the long awaited Momo Shift knob. I know it's just an auto trans, but it does feel nice, and I think it's good for a couple of Horse pwr. Ha Ha. Tomorrow i'm going to install the Subaru hood deflector.
OT: I can't believe they charge what they charge for a car wash now and then the high school kids that dry off your car STILL want a tip on top of what you just paid!

When I was their age.... :mob:

Your right, I am fortunate to have once-a-week car washing as a tax deduction, so as long as I get a receipt, I will pay - but am not going to tip.
What is absolutely inexcusable at a car wash is:
1. Inferior cleaning.
2. Crap coffee.
3. Small jerk who rips off your coins.
A major mod....

installed the Momo shift knob
