Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today?? :biggrin:

So to keep myself from getting rusty from not-working on subies, Im taking my moms 02 Impreza OBS and baking her headlights either tonight or tomorrow .lol. She doesn't understand what that means, but I told her it will look prettier when Im done (she asked me not to make it "pimpy" looking..haha ) Now Im gonna hunt down the best deal on the Philips Silver turns..

Attempted to change the rear brakes on the 07. Autozone gave me the wrong pads.

303'd the rubber weatherstripping on Subed to protect against UV damage. Accidentally found that there are actually little rubber spacers glued inside the lip of the weatherstrip to seal against the top of the gusset. Of course I knocked one of them loose. I guess that means that I have to do the PVC hose mod now...

Drove home in a SNOW STORM. Yep, Spring in Colorado. Noticed one of my HID bulb's is starting to lose color. I guess it's about time to buy another set and keep these as a back-up.

Received my spoiler from Jackie @ Annapolis Subie and picked up a new PZEV sticker, a rear bumper guard , and a new key and fob from the local dealership. Looks like I'll have plenty to do this weekend.

...told the dealership not to send me the "aero bars" and bought a Malone Roof Rack instead. Installed the Malone rack and I love it.

What did I do to my subie today? Just picked him (2010 Fozzie PZEV) up this morning at the dealership. My first Subie after driving 6 Honda's (Accord, Civic, CR-V) for the past 20 years.
