What did you do to your subie today?

Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.
(if this is a repost, please delete it)

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

Over the weekend I had my front windows and sunroof tinted. Then went next door and had supertones put in. I will be the first to admit, they might actually be too effective.
The Applied Film Technology(Lee) and AZP shop is a nice little hangout spot. I know the guys were working hard over there but it's a nice relaxed atmosphere and area. Good time chating with them all.

Window surgery.

Yesterday I washed my XT for the first time since probably September.

Yeah, I need the extra horsepower and downforce before I move on to the interior mods. But don't you worry, the spoiler is going on as early as this weekend. I'm beyond excited. Shortly after that will be my headlight modding (I know I want to burn that bridge but not exactly how yet...).

Anyway, to stay on topic. Today I'm letting mother nature give "Roo" a bath, and as soon as the rain stops, I'll be putting on my custom license plate frame. :woohoo:

Where did you get the sticker from? RallyDecals.com? I ordered a bunch of stuff from them on April 12th and have yet to receive any of it... Looks nice though!

Sean the Mobile Dentpro guy came at 9:15 a.m. and made the door ding disappear from my rear passenger door. I tried to do a photograph of before and after but the ding it didn't show up before OR after the fix. Sean lightened by checkbook for me too!:woohoo:

But it was worth it. Until the next sub-human does a similar performance.
loaded up the mountain bike and hit my local fave ride.....actually met an MY09 forester guy unloading his bike at the same time.....we talked some shop, I name dropped subaruforester.org but hes been here before......Good ride today:woohoo:

Must've been this site. Good looks Snoshado...sucks to hear you haven't seen it yet! I don't believe I had any problems with them. Was awhile back when I got them though.

Hauled 20, thirty pound bags of top soil INSIDE the Foz with the seats down, as well as the rest of the stuff (grass seed, some plants, shovels and rakes) on the roof basket. If I do my math right, we had over 800 pounds of stuff packed in there......and it did perfect (it was squatting a bit though) It's that time of the year for us southwesterners to baby our grass back to life.

Tomorrow (if it's not horribly windy like today), I'll be re-mounting my ripped-off light-bar (again), rewiring it, re-spraying the bumpers, re-attatch the rear bumper (long story, I'll explain later), and re-wire the fog lamps (and take out the driver's side one that is currently filled with mud. :icon_biggrin:
Lent it to a good friend so that he can haul his drums, amps, and other equipment to storage; in the meantime i'm driving his Echo. sure feels less planted, esp. on the highway...

If you're in the market, I have a similar banner for sale.

She doesn't understand what that means, but I told her it will look prettier when Im done (she asked me not to make it "pimpy" looking..haha :p) Now Im gonna hunt down the best deal on the Philips Silver turns..
