Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

yesterday: picked up 4 used 255/40/18 azeni's for $100. Sold 3 255/35/18 star specs for 210(minus 108 to ship). Net =$2 and 1 tire. Enough tread to get me through this year, and the extra sidewall should be nice

today: 320 grit sanding on bumper
turns out I lied about today, nothing got done.
Drove around all the flooded areas checking on friends and family.
No time for the Foresters today! Rain is predicted for Monday, so it was a full day of yard work. :frown:

There's nothing wrong with taking Sunday off. Except for the part about lying.
Say two hail Foresters, and one Fuji Heavy Industries.
Go in one piece.

No dedication here ^ :icon_biggrin:

Oh back on-topic. Today I loaded the Forester up with tons of stuff. Also, remembered why I don't use the AC (holy no gas mileage) . But dude...it was hot today.
the roads were blocked due to the flood, so i had to stay home from work. i finished getting the glue off from the subaru emblem on the back. and gave it a wash. i accidently knicked some paint from the rear bar underneath the window using a razor. i wonder if i can get some touch up paint that matches that color from the dealership.
Drove it to the body shop for a little tweeking to match the new wheels.
washed all the damn pollen off.....it's getting a little ridiculous!
Installed a KartBoy Delrin Shift Knob (Saabaru) and Philips SilverVision WY21W in the rear (turn indicators). They are silver until engaged then they turn AMBER (lamps)!!!

HAHAHAHAAH AMBER LAMPIN

Yeah it's pretty annoying. Someone mentioned this in the Car Care section: California Duster Combo - Don’t just brush it off, brush it away! Two great products from the California Car Duster Company for surface and interior

Went to wal-mart and they had one! It was like 10 bucks. I think it will help a lot.
just ordered the last piece of my puzzle. now its time to put the 20g all together.
cant wait, although looks like i'll have to replace a left rear bearing, and a front right bearing first :discomonkey:

It's either pollen or rain this time of year here in Oregon & today was rain... lots of rain! :icon_eek:

Tore down the brakes, cleaned them, turned the rotors, masked and painted the hats, wire brushed and painted the calipers and brackets (a cool matte black, nonetheless) and am patiently waiting for my Hawk pads to arrive in Thursday...
Gave him a bath, finally. He's white again... not some bizarre grey color with dark lines and drips everywhere. o_O
Found a little mud in the Montero today with my dad! The thing is a blast so far... Well, minus the shakey idle, non electric windows, sloppy shifting and slow acceleration. lol :)
