had to get my rear driver side tire remounted on my 2011 foz that has 2200 miles on it because i had a little tooo much fun in the mud. The guy that remounted it said he saw alot of dirt on the inside rim. Turns out i had gotten some small rocks stuck in between the rim and tire that may have caused the bead to not do its job. Paid 30 bucks to do that =( hopefully that seals my tire. I'd hate to have such a small thing balloon into something bigger.

I installed some Dynamic Diode Leds today, stage 1, looks great. Yesterday I installed the footwell light kit and some rally armor mud flaps. Tomorrow.... I'm just gonna drive to work and drive home.

Had my Nokian Hakkapaliita 5s installed today. 225/60/16. Look nice! First time in years I am actually looking forward to winter. My driveway is fully AWD!

MY07 Forester XT and MY11 Legacy, both riding Nokian Hakka's!!!

Thought about replacing the burnt out driver's side low beam.

Does it just look like a pain in the ***, or is it?
The high/low beam bulb can be changed without removing the whole headlight housing. No tools required. It's a good idea to wear gloves when handling the halogen bulbs and to protect the back of your hand since it can be a tight fit accessing the back of the headlamps. If you have big hands you might want to see if someone with small hands can be available to help, just in case. The first time I changed the bulbs I needed a lot of patience. The rest of the changes have been quick.

I'm 6'6'' (i.e. BIG hands) and I had numerous scrapes and scratches on the back of my hands trying to replace this guy. Get someone with small hands.

Remote starter and got my spare in yesterday. no more cold car in the morning

Forgot to check when buying but no spare. Bought the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S on a steely. Had them on my last winter beater and liked their performance, also what I'll be getting for the non-winter months. Winter tires being installed tomorrow or Saturday :D

tranny has been a pita the past couple days especially today not being able to get into 1st or reverse. after not having the luck people have had with either the 'smurf blood' or 'uncle scotty's cocktail' mix, i'm finally going to try some extra-s and some synchro magic.

Drove up the Cat and Fiddle this morning and over to Flash (yes these are place names) in the snow and howling winds, Nearly all vehicles but me turning back to find alternative routes but the Foz kept going and for about 5 miles I was the only vehicle on the road, not that you could see where the road started and the moors began!

Customer glad to see me and made me lunch before departing in the snow again.
