Fitted front and rear mudflaps. Chinese pattern parts from eBay at about a quarter of the price of the Subaru UK parts.

One disadvantage - they came with 8 self tapping screws to fix them, but it's best to use plastic bumper clips. Use the existing ones, plus one extra needed for each flap - 8mm at the rear, 10mm at the front. Some of the holes in the flaps needed enlarging slightly to take the clips.

installed:
1998 v4 jdm sti front seats
255LpH walbro fuel pump
20mm rear sway bar
tidied up the wiring for my sub amp
installed a greddy profec b spec 2 ebc
still cant drive it yet... look forward to when i can!!!

Changed the oil in 105 degree heat.

The hardest part was getting the skid plate off and on again. I am really considering getting a hole drilled and manufacturing a cover for it.

Brake flush, scratches buffed out/waxed, home made cat back with a single muffler installed, diff fluid replaced. Subwoofer and amp placement contemplation......

WOW. 205 pages of mods...

Replaced (some) Light Bulbs

Recently purchased a 2006 in addition to our 1999. 2006 had some bad bulbs.

  • Replaced front parking (brow) lights
  • Replaced low beam bulbs
  • looked into front side marker bulb replacement. :-( Very interesting design, but not so fun! I'll get back to this task when I'm in better humor...

Timing belt is also on the list of to-do items!
