What did you do to your subie today?
Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car
When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

Past weekend I cleaned up and painted the calipers a nice plain silver, and tossed on some new wheels/tires/rolled fenders! Would post pic's but I don't have enough posts under my belt yet!
This weekend I ran all the wires and hooked up my amp and sub. No under the seat crap, it's a box I made myself for a Kicker 12" I had in my last car. The amp is under the driver's seat and the box is behind the rear seats and totally removable.
had it towed to IAG to have the brembo install done

....found out that my timing belt jumped 2-3 teeth via the crankshaft sprocket. :yell: Now I have to spend 4 hours re-timing the damn thing. AHHHH!
I changed the oil. Now using Mobil 1!

Opened the garage, started her up for 15 minutes.
Ordered new exhaust! Cleaned my dash, finally got the new memory fab s68 all the way in!
Finished up the clay and wax that I started last night. First detail on my 7 day old Forester.
added a sub woofer and did an oil change, and a green air filter !!
I'm checking my fluids today and driving North to Everett tonight, then heading on a fun snowy trip over the mountains tomorrow. Supposed to be getting ALOT of snow tonight at Stevens Pass so this will be an interesting first snow trip in the FOz. Having a feeling this 5 hour drive to grandmas is gonna take much much longer. =|
