Thought I broke it and almost had a heart attack! Came around a corner nice and hard, heard a MASSIVE crack noise from the rear. Turns out my bike was in the back and hit the side nice and hard....hard enough to crack the plastic trim. :icon_confused:
I had the same thing happen to me......though in my case it wasn't a bike, it was an engine block that came un-strapped. Cracked the plastics here too. :icon_frown:

Walked into a local Subaru dealership for the first time. Went to the Parts Dept. Walked up to the glassed-in display like a kid in a candy store.
Pointed to the Momo leather shift knob & said "Hey mister, how much is That?"
$80 out the door. Whipped out the plastic and cashed out. Went to parking lot,
unscrewed stock shift knob, screwed on the New Momo & drove away like Mario Andretti.....!
Love it... that's what owning a sub is all about for me... smile time.

Committed to changing her timing belt, water pump, idlers, and acc belts. She only has 87K, but it's worth the peace of mind for me.
Ordered some LPS rust inhibitor for the SST coilovers so that I can slap them in.

Also spoke with my local tuner about a possible BCS system upgrade. They are starting to install (with great success) a hybrid boost control system that sounds like it would really help dial out any variations in boost. Up at our elevations, and with our crazy climate changes, it's hard to get a tune to compensate so quickly and maintain the same boost. This system seems to have fixed all issues.

Took the rear seat (middle/right back side portion) to a interior shop to get my 04xt seat cover fabbed to fit my 07 with the arm rest. Was quoted 50, then he later called me and said 150-200. Said thanks, I'll be there in the morning to get my seat back. I paid 200 total for front xt seats and rear covers, keeping the arm rest functional isn't worth it IMO

Lookie who I found back in the woods.

Quick bath after sitting for two and a half months. Had to jump him off, but he fired right up. Gonna pick up a headgasket test kit tomorrow and change the oil.

Changed rear diff. fluid today at a little over 30,000 miles. Was able to break the plugs free w/ a 18" breaker bar and extension.

Fluid was almost clear-almost like new. Almost nothing on drain plug!

Replaced w/ Valvoline synthetic 75W30.
