Today's plan is to finish up the dash and put it all back together. Install the gauge cover and finish up the wiring. The 1 part im waiting on is due in tomorrow so hopefully the Gray Goose will be back on the road this week. Its been a long two weeks.
Completed!

I received my radiator! Tomorrow I'm gonna start pulling apart the engine so I can get all my stock hoses off (getting Samco for everything) and might test fit the rad....

Also gonna be pulling my rear seats and some other interior bits and pieces :)

Found someone who'll trade '02 WRX wagon front/rear seats. Looking into the heater element install and rear seat install process.
Its a bit of a pain but not terrible. Just be careful not to rip the foam! I found using zip ties in place of hog rings (long zip ties) lets you tighten everything up better (you can have the "tail" of the zip tie sticking out so you can pull it tight even when you can't get your hand in to where the zip tie itself is located as you're putting the seat cover back on).

Totally worth it though, heated bugeye seats are AWESOME.

Gave her some fuel additive, cleaned the windows inside and out, checked all of the oil levels and the rest of the engine, checked the tire pressure, tried to find a soldering iron so I could fix the Subie's broken overhead clock, checked the air filter to discover that I'm in dyer need of a new one, etc. It was a nice day in the Forester :)

Thought I broke it and almost had a heart attack! Came around a corner nice and hard, heard a MASSIVE crack noise from the rear. Turns out my bike was in the back and hit the side nice and hard....hard enough to crack the plastic trim. :icon_confused:

Sat at my desk in Instrument Ground School and ordered a Head Gasket test kit... and smiled because I'll be home working on him in two days.

Walked into a local Subaru dealership for the first time. Went to the Parts Dept. Walked up to the glassed-in display like a kid in a candy store.
Pointed to the Momo leather shift knob & said "Hey mister, how much is That?"
$80 out the door. Whipped out the plastic and cashed out. Went to parking lot,
unscrewed stock shift knob, screwed on the New Momo & drove away like Mario Andretti.....!

Put a liter of that dot 4 blue racing juice into the brake reservoir, after the brake lines were changed to goodridge ss lines. Changed the oil to synthetic AMSOIL 5w30.

Installed my new Rally Armor UR mud flaps. Took the front OEM scoops off before mounting new ones, but left the rear ones one. Turned out nice.

Then i ordered some window rain and wind deflectors off of Ebay, hope I'm as happy with them as the mud flaps. :icon_biggrin:
