Washed it and cleaned the inside. Now I just have to hide it away from my girlfriend in a friends locked garage.
And in 5 hours, off to thailand for 2 weeks. Only thing planned is to visit the Subaru-dealer in phuket to se the Exiga in real life

What did I do today?

Nothing.... Its snowing pretty badly, and its March..........

I did however get the parts for my timing belt change in the mail. I suppose today it would be wise to get started making my crank pulley tool.

DIY FTW.

Flywheel re-installed, oil pan re-sealed, old thermostat removed, water pump inspected. Looks like the car had an OEM thermostat and water pump installed. Hopefully not both original, but both seemed to be in good shape. Thermostat getting replaced, water pump being left alone.

With any luck, engine might be back in the car this weekend...

Took my Scoobie to Auto Parts store and bought the Haynes manual.
Unlike PlayBoy magazine, I bought it for the pictures, not the articles.
I'm thinking of installing a spark plug non-fowler on the downstream O2 sensor to eliminate an annoying CEL that comes & goes.

Installed my UltraGauge and messed around with it a bit - very nice unit, especially for the price! Now I just have to spend some time learning about all the available gauges and setting up which ones I want do display

Oil, lube and filter at the dealership. And for the first time EVER after an oil change, I couldn't smell burning oil all the way home!
