Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

Picked up hardly used red logo'd rally armor flaps. Will be installed with the upcoming heat wave!
New bulbs in all 4 fog lights. The factory ones are a PIA!

Trying out some Redline 5W40 in the Foz, and Mobil 1 5W30 in the Outback H6. I love the way the car feels after a fresh oil change.
Hit the 80k mark. :) :(
Installed the new Rola roof rack basket. Didn't have the time or energy to install the new class II hitch but I should be able to get it done tomorrow after work.
installed swift springs :)

Now I need some butt spacers :(
Nothing while I figure out how to get my valves adjusted with out going to the knuckle draggers at my stealership!
Today, I plan to finish work on my custom indash gauge install with hidden access panel. Check my journal later or tomorrow for updates on the goose!
grinned at her because she's back in the driveway after a long couple weeks without her.
I also loaded a slew of JDM parts into her older sister for this spring... :icon_wink:

Baby got new shoes! :woohoo:
Michelin Hydroedge in stock size (still wound up being about a half inch wider). Installed last Friday and immediately went on a 1000 mile trip to West Tennessee that afternoon. They still had about six inches of snow and ice on the ground and I had zero problems.

I see no journal for this!
[yesterday] Took all the green stickers off. Checked all fluids. Fixed a weird click/tick noise I've noticed lately under light throttle- turns out one of the nuts holding the bcs on fell off and the entire assembly was vibrating. It's been driving me crazy for at least 3 months now -_-

Oh - and found the source of a weird noise coming from the hatch area. Had an empty PBR rolling around in the spare.
Did 190km's driving to clients with the Aircon pumping because of the +37 Celsius temp. In comfort!!
^wanna trade? we've warmed up here but it's still only 37°F here...
Changed the oil yesterday. Today drove up to Staten Island, moved about 1000lbs of snow from in front of my mom's house and used the Foz to flatten it out so it will melt.
