Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

Took off the roof rails, disabled the seat belt chime, and wiped off where the girlfriend wrote "wash me!" :icon_rolleyes:

Gave 'er a quick hose off and dry and put on some tire wet. Sat in the interior for some time playing around with and prying off trim pieces, thinking ahead to my HU install. Pulled off the leather boot around the ebrake and got to thinking about making a custom boot...

Yeah, I need the extra horsepower and downforce before I move on to the interior mods. :biggrin: But don't you worry, the spoiler is going on as early as this weekend. I'm beyond excited. Shortly after that will be my headlight modding (I know I want to burn that bridge but not exactly how yet...).

Anyway, to stay on topic. Today I'm letting mother nature give "Roo" a bath, and as soon as the rain stops, I'll be putting on my custom license plate frame. :woohoo:

Received my spoiler from Jackie @ Annapolis Subie and picked up a new PZEV sticker, a rear bumper guard , and a new key and fob from the local dealership. Looks like I'll have plenty to do this weekend.

Fixed the rear hatch rattle with a little bit of foam tape. Silent cargo area now, well, for a Foz.

Installed new OEM rear brake pads, flushed brake fluid and replaced with ATE Super Blue brake fluid.

It's almost like they know to "go" in high-contrast areas. The crap really stands out on DGM...
