Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car
When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

I buffed out some paint transfer from a recent hit and run and pulled a basketball size dent out of the back bumper. Looks good as new. Well there's still a small dimple in the bumper and some paint cracks noticeable up close.
DIY black headlights and removed the "forester sports" badge off the grill. Its not completely done yet but I consider it accomplished.
Oil change and front pads and rotors. It bugs me that theyre so much more shiny than the rears. Maybe I'll do the rears this weekend
Bought my swifts and prodrive round axle back!
Dropped it off at gerber collision to have the rear end fixed up purrdy.

Picked it up from gerber collision. New bumper. It was slightly "off" as in not fitted right. I noticed it and they fixed it. It is however tight/touching left rear lamp... Should be ok right? Otherwise looks good.
One of my new all time favorite forester shots. Thats awesomeI kind of beat her up a bit. Went to some of my favorite off-roading spots and lost daylight quick. Snapped a few shots with her tail up in the air. :biggrin:

picked up black 08 fxt seats to ditch my nasty beige ones
Picking up 06 2.5i rims and ordered michelin ice xi2's from tirerack. couldn't decide between graspics and these but if I'm going big, get the best.
Next will be to sched my 60k and have them also mount the tires and rims when I get them all situated.

Stopped in at p&l Motorsports and had them mount and balance my Michelin ice xi2's on my rattle canned black 06 Impreza rims. Pics tomorrow, after it snows.
Picked up hardly used red logo'd rally armor flaps. Will be installed with the upcoming heat wave!
Bought black fxt rear seat covers to complete my tan to black interior seat swap.
Installed my red logo'd RA, changed a burnt out light bulb
Installed my summers back on, my x-ice's still look brand new and served me well. Didn't get to my seat covers but maybe tomorrow.
Swapped the dirty tan rear lower seat cover for a black one. Looks sweet, I still have to do the seat backs and driver seat. Damn those hog rings suck and slow things down
