What did you do to your subie today?

Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car

When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

What did you guys do to the subarus today??

Fixed the leaky gas tank seal on the fuel pump...and semi cleaned up the interior.
Got the new fuel tank gasket and fuel line clips from the dealer. Will install them this weekend.
Changed out the fuel pump gasket and fuel line snap fittings. Also adjusted the rear hatch catch and added some foam to the hatch plastic to keep rattles down.
Past weekend I cleaned up and painted the calipers a nice plain silver, and tossed on some new wheels/tires/rolled fenders! Would post pic's but I don't have enough posts under my belt yet!
My brakes are silver as well!
Bought an 10 premium, cant stop smiling at the thought of 2 sweet foz's in the garage.
Got the windows and moonroof tinted on the 10 today.
Spent yesterday swapping the RSB in the 2010 out, as well as putting the TSX RFL muffler on the 2007.
How did that go for you? Swapped to what? Did you change the mounts? Any tips or tricks?

All info is there.
Washed, Clay Bar and waxed. Cut out hole for Fumoto Oil Drain Valve on Subtle Solutions Skid Plate.
I finally got the first good washing of my FSXT since February...
I like when the weather ends up being the opposite of the forecasts.
MY FXT needs a wash, claybar, and wax so bad! Maybe next weekend if it rains like they are saying it will.
It was my first time using a clay bar. I guess I never cared about my other rides as much as i do my Foz. That think is like glass. So smooth.
I am really happy I did it. I also cleaned out my garage and made room for the Foz to be parked in it. :) WORD.. Now bring on the rain.. :)
I clay bared my lgt. It felt so nice!
ClayBar FTMFW
I agree! A lot of work but well worth it.

Yeah, still not warm enough here to clay and wax my foz yet... it's always cooled off by the time I'm home from the office.
Or it never gets hot on the weekends like it does during the week.

As long as I can get a good claying in before WBM I'll be happy.
I have always washed it in the sun, dried the car then applied wax to a cool surface(aka in the garage). Most waxes dont like to be applied in the sun.
I finished up work on some parts for the FXT.
Watched a guy in a utility truck slam his door into Subed's rear quarter panel. :chair:
I would hope you said something to him.
I test fitted the new parts...yummy.
Took the 2010 up to the dealer for its Friday hand wash!

Ordered new tires for the 2007.
Picked up a new set of used wheels for the 07.
Pics Steve, add them to your journal and the sticker/decal thread!
Dropped the 07 off at my brother's shop to have him mount/balance my new wheels and tires.
Attempted to change the rear brakes on the 07. Autozone gave me the wrong pads.
