After finally getting around to installing forester specific pinks and new struts, last night I installed kartboy sub-frame lock out bolts. Tomorrow the new 235/50 17 Bridgestone re 960 PP tires will go on and alignment will get done. Now that it's capable, nothing is holding me back from stage 3!

Thought it would be fun to start a thread on everyday things we do here and there to our beloved Subarus. The weather is getting nicer, so I'm sure we will all be outside more tinkering on our cars.

Today has been a busy day for me! Got my Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires in yesterday from Tirerack for the Sti and had them mounted and balanced today by a real cool guy off of Nasioc. If anyone wants his info in the PNW PM me. He runs a legit business out of his home doing tire stuff n such, for a really good deal. But let me tell ya, these tires are STICKY!!! They pick up gravel everywhere but they are SOOOoo nice! It feels like a different car
When I got back from joyriding the STi in it's new tires, I washed the Forester (for the second time this week) and finally got around to hand waxing it. Looks pretty, but boy is there a lot of bumps and bruises on it!

Got a Walbro and VF39 sitting on the bench in the garage. New gaskets and washers come tomorrow. Do I dare try to install this on my own while I have a spare car at my disposal???

Must say, that's pretty cool. I've never seen Audi wheels used before. Are they 5x100? Did you have to use spacers?i lowered it on tein flex coils and 18x8 audi rs4 wheels
Feel free to get pissed.View attachment 80370 need some input please. I just had tint done today and after looking it over, is using a marker to fill in spots normal or what? I've never noticed it on other vehicles. Let me know if that's ok before I start getting pissed.

LOL, I have a stack of them in my garage for this very reason..., no drip.Try using a red Solo cup when removing the filter to catch any oil coming from the filter. Loosen the filter, place cup over filter and keep twisting.
