Washed, clayed, washed, waxed, cleaned interior...5 hours of laboring love for my subie.

Resurfaced the headlights with the 3M kit. I didn't use the sanding pads b/c the oxidization wasn't too bad. Turned out great! Next time, I'll cover the engine bay...way too much splatter when doing the last stage.

Just a simple oil change (Motul 5W30). I swear I heard my Foz say "Ahhhhhh!"

Finally replaced the OEM battery with one from Costco. 640 CCA, yeah!

Have you had your car 5 or more like 6 years? I have a '06 and am trying to figure when to replace my OEM battery before it gives me trouble maybe next summer. :Banane37:

Feb. 2011 will be year 6. I wasn't going to take any chances with the temps in the 20s this past week. I could feel the OEM battery struggling to get going so it got replaced. Peace of mind going into this winter, plus the Costco battery only costs $60.00 (they gave me another $9.xx back when I returned the OEM core).

Dropped off the Foz @ IAG for a Exedy Stage 1 clutch install. With just a few clicks over 70K, the clutch is starting to slip, especially in the cold.

Picked up the Forester with the new Exedy Stage 1 clutch; installed the STi hood scoop and the Subtle splitter and switched out the winter tires for the summer ones!

Had some new tires put on (235-50-17s) along with an alignment and the oil changed. Preparing for a wet autumn.
