Yup just curious if this was normal? I’ve never seen this on previous vehicles I’ve owned.

You've obviously never owned a 1990s Volkswagen. Serious brake dust production from the OEM pads!

It's normal. Just clean it.

Cosmolene sprayed on lugs at the factory. Brake dust and dirt stick to it. Why it isn't cleaned off during new car prep is a mystery. WD 40 works very well for clean up. My 2019 Sport has it.
