Dashpod weird display after dealer maintenance?

Car is currently at 48k miles, took my 2015 CVT Forester in for oil change and tire rotation the other day, and after picking it up it has strange display on dashpod at key on, but before starting the engine! Instead of clock, outside temp, engine oil temp, average mpg, etc., it shows six items in blue and white with black background. They are icons that look like windshield washer squirter, oil can, tire, wrench, another oil temp looking with two bars and 8 dots underneath, and a circle with what looks like water waves in the center and drum brake shoe on each side outside of the circle. After a couple seconds it turns green and white with black background then goes to proper customized display.

I've never seen this before, asked dealer and they said sorry please come back and we'll make it go away. They also said that it's probably just an upcoming service warning. I trust to some extent, but always verify car dealers, too many have proved themselves to be liars and crooks lol. Anybody know what this really is?

Edit: Forgot to mention that they printed on my detailed receipt of work done that there are no current recalls/TSB update anything that needs done on my car.

Pretty sure that when you setup time or mileage reminders for things like oil, oil filter, tire rotation in the secondary display menu that pops up. Mine seems like it always has.

Edit: I'll try to remember to snap a photo in a few minutes when I leave the office and you can confirm if that's what I'm talking about.

Then the dealer did something to turn it on, never been there before. Can it be turned off in the settings of the dashpod menu via steering wheel controls, like setting time/date, or?

Yeah, I don't remember the specifics, but you can just turn notifications to "off" in the menus, which will stop this display. I actually prefer to have it showing, but to each his own...

I did not have mine on until a member mentioned what was that. Checked the manual, turned it on and here I am, enjoying that screen when I turn on the engine.

Sometimes, the dealer/service tech may turn it on and may update the intervals.

Remember to update the date and mileage when you get the services done.

When service is due, the icon turns yellow and another message may be shown. After a few starts [a few days? Some mileage trigger?] the icon will return to green.
