I just replaced my cabin air filter on my 2011 Forester and now when I brake or accelerate with the AC on. I get this gushing sound near the glove box area. Does anyone know what it could be?

You didn't have it before you replaced the filter?
Is the a/c working OK?
Is your radiator full? (check by removiong the rad cap cold .)
Have you changed filters before?

It sounds like your AC drain hose is clogged.

Air in the engine coolant system. You are hearing it move through the heater core. That is what this sounds like to me.

Didn't have the noise before.
AC seems to be working fine.

Yes I've changed filters before. First time on a subaru.

Its the one in the center of the picture (passenger side). [2008 model]

Just take a small hose inside the main hose and blow into it.

Went to a shop and got compressed air blown into the tube. Cleared it out and all the water came out. What would of caused it to clog up? This is the first I've had it happen to one of my vehicles. Would like to know what I can do to stop it from happening again.
