How did the roof and other body panels hold up? I already know that these lighter windshields will not hold up to much.
The older Subarus' are are heftier AFA glass and body panels. New models, not so much. Sheeesh.

The damage incurred by the windshield leads me to believe that it is an acoustic windshield. The video reveals a 2014-2018 generation Forester but I can't tell if it is a 2017-2018 that comes with an acoustic windshield.

Those guys chase storms as a profession. I'd think something like that might be similar to the "racing" or "offroad" clauses my policy has. Maybe @KenWales knows?

Two years ago my evo was pummeled by these monsters. My PDR Jedi saved her. I took one of those in my head...rocked me.

we get nasty hail every July/August.

I kind of cringed and thought the guy was a maniac getting a thrill out of watching his car be destroyed. It's one thing to suffer bad luck, it's quite another to go chasing after it.
