I have a 1998 Forester.

Just noticed a vibration/grumbling noise when I turn right at slow speeds, such as when I turn into a parking spot.

Any thoughts as to what is wrong/what needs replacement?

Thanks!

The vibration starts initially when I turn sharply right, again like how you pull into a parking spot, but the vibration goes away the farther I pull to the right.

Still think it's that left wheel bearing? If so, is it an immediate fix or can I go for awhile with it?

Thanks!

I had a similar noise(slight chattering & vibration) when doing tight radius turns at low speeds. I just did my 30,000 maintenance and changed the front & rear gear oil and ATF and the noise is gone. Your issue could be a wheel bearing but if you haven't changed the gear oil lately, maybe you should look into that first.
