This is just an update on the Hella Supertones that have been on my car a few years now.

It rained pretty dang hard last week and I had the chance to drive through it. This week I tried to use my horns and nothing... The relay had taken on some water and failed. $5 at Autozone and it's all good now.

Consider weather proofing or repositioning if you have an aftermarket relay for lights, horns, etc. My relay was sitting between the driver side headlight and battery and it still got soaked (it was raining pretty hard).

BTW-I couldn't find the thread I had made when I did the install WAAAY back then.

FYI- Moose was the first FXT with supertones. If you've done it before me, prove it.:raspberry:

Cool, glad to hear it was an easy fix. When we installed the Supertones in Subed we skipped the relay altogether. No harm, no foul, although it seems that the horns aren't quite as loud as they would normally be. Slynki has the relay and hers are louder by far.
